Refunds and rescheduling
These terms apply to professional audit engagements commissioned from Security Platforms. They do not cover physical products or software subscriptions, which we do not sell.
Eligibility
Refunds relate to fees paid under a signed letter of engagement for audits for fintech firms or related fieldwork. Website form submissions alone do not create a charge.
Deposits
Engagements typically require a deposit of thirty percent of the quoted fee to reserve kick-off and fieldwork dates. The deposit is credited against the final invoice.
Full refund
If we cancel an engagement before fieldwork begins for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for that engagement.
Partial refund
If you cancel in writing more than fourteen days before the agreed kick-off date, we refund amounts paid minus an administrative fee of NT$15,000 or ten percent of the deposit, whichever is lower. Cancellations inside fourteen days forfeit the deposit; unused remaining fees for work not started are refunded.
Work already started
Once evidence intake or fieldwork has begun, fees for completed stages are non-refundable. Unused later stages may be credited or refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion after reviewing progress.
Non-refundable items
Third-party travel booked at your request, rush printing of board packs, and interpreter fees already incurred are non-refundable once ordered.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule kick-off once without charge if you give at least ten days’ notice. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a fee reflecting lost fieldwork slots.
No-shows
If process owners fail to attend agreed walkthroughs without twenty-four hours’ notice, that day may be billed as worked and is not refundable.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@securityplatforms.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method.
Exceptions
Force majeure events that prevent fieldwork may lead to mutual rescheduling or a credit. Letters of engagement may set stricter timelines for supervisory-driven readiness sprints; those terms prevail when signed.
